For more than 15 years the Congress-Centrum Saar GmbH (CCS) has managed the affairs of both its halls, the Saarlandhalle and Congresshalle, and has filled both of the Saarland Event-Flagships with the most diverse events. Almost 500 events, with over 2000 room reservations per year, are held in the two event venues of the CCS. The annual turnover lies at around 2.1 million Euros.
The Congress-Centrum Saar GmbH is owned 80% by the county of Saarland and 20% by the county capital, Saarbrücken. The General Manager is Mrs. Stefanie Paul. Chairman of the supervisory board is Dr. Gerd Bauer, Director of the Landesmedienanstalt Saarland (Saarland State Media Authority). The CCS itself has shares in the Kongress- und Touristik Service Region Saarbrücken GmbH (20%), in the DIVAG, as well as shares in the TZS Tourismus-Zentrale Saarland GmbH (5%).
The CCS has 31 exceptionally well trained, highly motivated staff that is available, to attend at every day and evening of the most varied events. The houses of the CCS have already been chosen on many occasions by business people from all over Europe as one of the most pleasant event locations.
The Saarlandhalle and the Congresshalle both belong to the cultural sites of the county capital Saarbrücken.
